Protocol
Static balance on one leg.
- Barefoot or in usual shoes, arms crossed on the chest (or hands on hips), next to a wall or support for safety.
- Choose the leg and eyes open or closed. Instruction: "Lift one foot without touching the other leg, and hold as long as you can."
- Start the stopwatch when the foot leaves the floor.
- Stop it when the raised foot touches the floor or the other leg, the arms move, or the stance foot shifts. Up to 3 trials; the best counts.
